Electrical mishap kills 1, injures 3 in northern Vietnam

A young man was electrocuted to death and three others were injured in an accident in the northern province of Thai Binh on Sunday, Lao Dong (Labor) newspaper reported.

The accident happened in the morning when a group of four residents were driving in stakes for a road project in a rural village in Quynh Phu District.

Electricity leaked from the motor they were using, killing Nguyen Viet Duy, 23, on the spot and injuring the three others.

Phi Van Duong, 39, who suffered the most serious injury, was rushed to hospital.

He has recovered, according to local police.
