Four endangered douc langurs have been rescued from a café and a villa in Ho Chi Minh City.

The animals were sent to Cu Chi Wildlife Rescue Center after being sedated by the center experts on Tuesday, VnExpress reported.

Two of the langurs were found in a cage at a café in District 12 during a random inspection by local authorities. Two others were later found at a villa in District 2.

The langurs belong to the IB group of rare animals, which are banned from trading, transporting or keeping in any form.
