The Consular Club in Ho Chi Minh City will host a bazaar selling international products to raise funds for the disadvantaged this Saturday, November 19.

Besides buying goods and food, visitors can also help by purchasing raffle tickets for VND50,000 (US$2.4) each. Prizes are valued at more than $100 each and include airline tickets, resort stays, and spa packages.

The Christmas cheer will also be spread by a Santa Claus available for photos with visitors.

Entry tickets cost VND80,000 a piece, but the event is free for children under ten accompanied by an adult. To purchase entrance tickets, send an email to Nguyen Huong Hoai at NguyenHH1@state.gov.

The bazaar will be open between 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Diamond Place, 15A Ho Van Hue Street, Phu Nhuan District.

Organizers expect this year to top last year's total of 1,900 participants.

All proceeds from the bazaar will be redistributed to help those less fortunate in the community, in the form of scholarships, medical care, rainwater purification, flood relief and more.
