The general director of a construction company in Phu Nhuan District, identified only as T, said Thiep's gang had sent many text messages threatening to kill him and his family because he had refused to sell scrap materials at some construction site in HCMC and Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province to them at lower than market prices.
