The New World Saigon Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City is reopening its annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony to share wishes of children suffering from malignant cancer, giving the guests the chance to make their wishes come true.

The Christmas tree will be adorned with golden stars containing personal wishes of nearly 200 children from the city's Tumor Hospital.

Guests and visitors at the hotel are encouraged to choose one or more stars to help the children. They can either give money or buy the gift themselves and let the hotel deliver it to the children.

The donations will be taken to the hospital at the end of the year.
