Luo Zhi Yong, 47, and Liang Tuan De, 48, along with Nguyen Van Hung, 48, were sentenced to three months in jail each.

Later that same day police raided the card game and confiscated over VND9.5 million (US$451).

A report on Vietnamnet quoted the Binh Thuan's People's Court as saying that Hien and Tien were not charged and only fined because they only joined half of the gambling and their bets could not be identified.
