The Hanoi police have arrested a Chinese man for allegedly trying to transport four kilograms of heroin from Vietnam to China, a source told Thanh Nien Tuesday.

Wang Ling Long was arrested earlier that day after officers found six bags of white powder, later identified as heroin, in his room in a hotel in Hoan Kiem District.

He told police that he was hired to deliver the drugs to a man in Beijing. He had flown into Hanoi and received the drugs at the hotel.
