Chinese arrested in southern Vietnam with 1.32 kilos of heroin

A Chinese man was arrested in the southern province of Tay Ninh with 1.32 kilograms of heroin Thursday night .

Zhu Yinxiang, 47, was trying to smuggle the drugs into Vietnam through the Moc Bai border gate to Cambodia at around 10 p.m.

Police are investigating further.

Vietnam has some of the world's toughest drug laws. Those convicted of smuggling more than 600 grams of heroin or more than 2.5 kilograms of meth face the death penalty.
