Police in China just busted a human trafficking case whose victim was a 10-year-old Vietnamese girl.
The child, called Wang Xiao Fang in Chinese, was sold to a 35-year-old man in Shanxi, China in June this year, when she was nine, for the price of 32,000 Yuan (US$4,800), Chinese media have said.
Fang said a stranger had asked her to come on a motorbike and took her to China, selling her to the man who said he bought her to be his wife.
Chinese police investigated the case after Fang was seen writing several Vietnamese words.
There's no information about where the child came from yet. Her Vietnamese name was also not made available.
