The Hanoi International Women's Club will hold its 20th Charity Bazaar on Sunday, November 27, at the United Nations International School in Ciputra.
Lasting from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., the leading charity event will feature the food, drink and live music of nearly 30 countries and be attended by local charity groups, businesspeople and diplomats. Many businesses in Hanoi will be represented at the fete.
As in previous years, there will be a children's corner and a fund-raising auction.
Admission is VND100,000 for adults and VND50,000 for children between three and 12 years old. Admission for children under three is free.
The Hanoi International Women's Club is a non-profit organization of foreign women living and working in Vietnam.
Since its founding in 1986, the club has become one of the biggest women's charity groups in Southeast Asia.
Last year it supported 16 projects, many of them in Vietnam's northern region, such as arranging medical home care for children infected with HIV/AIDS in Bac Ninh Province, paying house rent for victims of female trafficking in Lao Cai, and sending talented ethnic children to universities in Hanoi.
