Alternative routes around the Saigon Bridge

Cars with nine seats or more with the exception of buses and trucks with a loading capacity of one ton and above will be banned from traveling on the Saigon Bridge while it is repaired this month and next.

The repairs, including concrete reinforcement and other maintenance, began November 21 and will last until December 10.

According to the project managers, the lane for cars and trucks will be repaired, while motorbikes will still flow freely in their lane which is not in need of repair.

The ban has resulted in serious traffic congestion surrounding the bridge.
