Two cars at an apartment building in Hanoi were found with two wheels missing from each vehicle on Sunday morning.

A VnExpress news website report said the lights of the Kia Carens and Kia Forte were not damaged and their doors were still locked. Bricks had been placed under the vehicles by the thieves.

Huan, owner of the Kia Carens, said he has been parking his car in the building's yard for three years and never lost a thing.

Earlier in June during the Euro season, many Kia and Hyundai car owners in Hanoi complained about losing their cars' wheels after parking them in the yards of apartment buildings, as guarded parking lots did not have enough space.

The stolen wheels are worth around VND10-40 million (US$480-1920).
