Houses and industrial constructions will be required to have a path large enough on their sides for fire trucks, under a new regulation issued by the Construction Ministry.
Constructions more than 18 meters wide should have firetruck path on both sides. Those with widths of less than 18 meters can have the path running on just one side.
The new regulation does not apply to household residences with less than seven floors, the ministry said.
Houses or constructions larger than one hectare or more than 100 meters wide have to save firetruck paths in all directions, the rule said.
The paths are not exclusive for fire trucks.
