A British engineer who supervised the construction of an oil refinery in central Vietnam has been found dead inside his apartment after a party.
Local media cited a statement from the Justice Department of Thanh Hoa Province as saying that Adam Cummings, 42, died on October 25.
Examiners have found no signs of attacks, but the cause of death has not been released.
The department is still waiting for his family and the UK diplomatic agencies in Vietnam to receive his body.
Investigation found Cummings held a party until 9 p.m. the night of October 24 at his apartment in the province.
His girlfriend, who stayed the night, found him unresponsive at 5:30 a.m. the next morning.
She called some of his colleagues to bring him to hospital. But doctors said he died on the way.
Cummings was supervising scaffolding for a sub-contractor at Nghi Son, Vietnam’s second oil refinery project.
