A Belarusian tourist has been missing since Sunday and is feared to have drowned at a waterfall near Da Lat where three foreign tourists died at another falls just days ago.
Preliminary investigation found the 26-year-old took off his clothes and jumped into the lake at the foot of the Pongour Falls at around 3 p.m and immediately seemed to be drowning.
A group of local tourists rushed over to try and save him but they failed and informed the fall authorities.
Rescuers were immediately sent to the site, but they called off their efforts at 9 p.m. as the water had turned cold.
The search efforts resumed the next morning and the investigation continues.
Three British tourists died Friday afternoon while exploring the Datanla Falls in the town.
Preliminary investigations suggested they were climbing down the waterfall when they slipped and fatally hit their heads on rocks.
Dam Me Company, which took the tourists there, has been closed down pending an investigation for failing to make sure they had necessary safety equipment for adventure tours.
