Customs officers in Ho Chi Minh City announced the seizure of some five kilograms of bear feet on Wednesday.
The feet were discovered in the suitcase of a Vietnamese-Canadian at Tan Son Nhat Airport.
Le Tuan Binh, Deputy Chief of Tan Son Nhat's Customs Officers, said the feet were discovered when Khuu Truc Lap attempted to claim his suitcase,Tuesday.
Lap, a Canadian national, entered Vietnam Monday from Canada, according to Binh.
As the feet weren't declared or licensed for import into Vietnam, customs confiscated them and handed them over to the city's Forest Rangers' Agency.
An investigation is underway.
