The Australian government has funded approximately VND350 million to two small-scale development projects in the provinces of Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan.
The projects are to build classrooms, purchase educational and medical equipment and physical rehabilitation tools.
The funding for these projects was provided by the Australian Consulate-General through the Direct Aid Program (DAP).
DAP is a small, flexible grants program for development activities funded by the Australian government which aims to alleviate situations of humanitarian hardship. The program aims to assist low income communities in the southern provinces of Vietnam.
