Ho Chi Minh City will close sections of Le Duan and Pasteur Streets in front of the Independence Palace for more than a month starting Monday as it prepares for celebrations of the 40th anniversary of the nation's reunification.
Closings between March 30 and May 6 include a section of Pasteur St. between Han Thuyen and Alexandre de Rhodes, and a section of Le Duan St. between Pham Ngoc Thach and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia.
Vehicles won't be allow to stop or park on Han Thuyen and Alenxandre de Rhodes.
The section of Han Thuyen St from Pasteur to the Cong Xa Paris Square will open to one-way traffic only.
Detours:
Vehicles can take one of the alternative routes to avoid the street closures:
On Pasteur St:
 - Pasteur -- Ly Tu Trong -- Hai Ba Trung -- Le Duan -- Pham Ngoc Thach -- Alexandre de Rhodes -- Pasteur, or
 - Pasteur -- Han Thuyen -- Cong Xa Paris Square -- Pham Ngoc Thach -- Alexandre de Rhodes -- Pasteur.
On Le Duan St:
1. From Le Duan to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia:
 - Le Duan -- Pham Ngoc Thach -- Alenxandre de Rhodes -- Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, or
 - Le Duan -- Cong Xa Paris Square -- Nguyen Du -- Nam Ky Khoi Nghia.
2. From Nam Ky Khoi Nghia to Le Duan:
 - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia -- Nguyen Thi Minh Khai -- Pham Ngoc Thach -- Le Duan, or
- Nam Ky Khoi Nghia -- Han Thuyen -- Cong Xa Paris Square -- Le Duan.
