A Vietnam Airlines airplane slipped in heavy wind and rain while parking Monday, colliding slightly with a bus carrying passengers at the Da Nang Airport.
The accident happened at around 8 a.m. The airplane, which had just landed after a flight from Hanoi, slid in wet ground and pulled the bus moving with it, news website VnExpress reported.
No casualty was reported but a wing of the plane was slightly scratched. It took off several hours later with safety guarantee by technicians from the plane producer Airbus.
A source from the national carrier said that although there was no damage, the airlines will cooperate with aviation authorities to investigate the cause of the accident.
Officials said the weather might be only one of the causes, and that there could be some technical issues involved as well.
