Customs officials at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City on Wednesday stopped a Vietnamese man from bringing an air gun into the country in his luggage.
The air gun was hidden in Nguyen Van Dieu's personal luggage in three separate parts, the local news website VietNamNet reported Friday.
Dieu, who was returning from Hong Kong, was fined for not declaring the gun. Customs officials seized the device.
Earlier on June 25, authorities at the same airport found four air guns in the personal luggage of Vu Thanh Thuy on his way back from Thailand.
