The crash happened at around 10 a.m. on a section of the highway in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 9 when the Lamborghini Huracan was heading to Dong Nai Province.
According to the Vietnam Expressway Corporation, no one was injured in the crash, which allowed Vietnam’s highest speed limit of 120kph (74.5 mph).
However, the car was seriously damaged in the front and back. It was unclear how many people were in the car.
The car was registered by a man in HCMC’s Binh Thanh District.
It is one of nine Lamborghini Huracan supercars in Vietnam, most of them used cars that were priced at about VND14 billion (nearly US$630,000).
Last August, another luxury sports car crashed into the median strip on HCMC’s Dien Bien Phu Street. The driver escaped unhurt after his car felled a traffic light signal pole before crashing into a utility pole and stopped.
