Four men are wanted for their alleged involvement in an online gambling syndicate that police recently uncovered in Ho Chi Minh City.

Phan Huy Thang, 43, Le Hoang Tan, 33, Tang Duc Le, 33, and Le Van Hau, 28, are accused of colluding with Tran Van Dinh to organize gambling games on websites www.sbobet.com and www.ibet888.net.

Dinh, 29, was arrested together with six others when police from the Ministry of Public Security busted the operation on January 7.

Initial findings were that the group of men opened Hong Ngoc Saigon Co. Ltd. in Tan Binh District, which supposedly specialized in producing wooden cases for mobile phones, as a front for their illegal activities.

Police said they administered gambling games designed by Bui Duc Binh, 29, and received bets on the Internet placed by gamblers from throughout the country.

They also conducted gambling activities at the company's headquarters, which was actually a café.

Police are still investigating as they search for the wanted men.
