A double-decker bus burned to cinders in the central province of Quang Nam early Friday morning.
Thirty passengers, including 15 foreign tourists, managed to escape, Vietnamnet reported.
Police in Son Tinh District, where the incident took place, said the bus, driven by Nguyen Van Thanh, originated in the central resort town of Nha Trang.
The fire broke out as it rolled into Phong Nien Village.
It took firefighters 20 minutes to extinguish the blaze, witnesses said.
While no casualties were recorded, the accident caused a traffic jam on the National Way No.1A.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
