The bodies of three men who went missing in an illegal gold mine in central Vietnam five days ago have been recovered, local media reported.
Rescuers found the body of Bui Van Man on Wednesday and those of Pham Van Dung and Kha Van Ngon on Thursday, Nguoi Lao Dong newspaper said.
On June 5 Ngon was digging for gold in an underground mine in the mountainous Lung Cao Commune, Thanh Hoa Province, when he was poisoned by toxic gases, authorities said.
As Ngon shouted for help, Dung went into the mine to rescue him, but did not return.
Another miner, Man, entered the mine for another rescue attempt gut also went missing.
