Three people died from suffocation after they were trapped under in a illegal stone quarry collapse in central Vietnam Sunday, Nguoi Lao Dong (Laborers) newspaper reported.

The collapse took place in a forest in Nghe An Province, where illegal mining of bluestone is rampant, the paper quoted local authorities as saying.
The victims included two brothers Cam Ba Hue and Cam Ba Tai, and Cam Ba Thu, all in their late teens, the report said.
According to Tuoi Tre newspaper, other miners at the site reported the collapse at 10 a.m. Sunday. The three victims' bodies were recovered eight hours later.
Police said they are investigating the cause of the collapse.
