3 dead, 5 seriously injured as car crashes into truck in central Vietnam

Three people died and five others were seriously injured after a car carrying people to a wedding, including the groom-to-be, crashed into a parking trailer truck in central Vietnam on Sunday.
The crash happened at around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday when the speeding seven-seater sedan driven by Ho Tuan Sau, 49, hit the back of the trailer truck, which was parked on the roadside, on National Highway 1A through Thanh Hoa Province.
Three men on the car, namely Nguyen Van Tan, 62, Le Van Mui, 48, and Nguyen Thai Hoa, 29, died on the spot.
Five others, including driver Sau, were rushed to hospital with severe injuries. 
The car was badly damaged after the crash.
It was heading to the northern province of Bac Giang for a wedding. One of the injured is groom-to-be Le Van Tuan, 23. 
Thanh Hoa authorities are investigating the crash.
