Vietnamese police have detained three suspects in the killing of two people at a beer club in the resort island of Phu Quoc two days ago, but the alleged killer is still on the loose.
To Van Nhan, 18, Le Van Nghia, 14, and Phan Thanh Giang, 27, were arrested on Monday and are being questioned by investigators, the police said.
They were accused of abetting Do Thanh Son, aka Tuan Em, who shot Huynh Quoc Bao to dead over personal conflict at Lion Garden Beer Club on Saturday night.
Tran Thi Thanh Mai, a pregnant woman who was celebrating her birthday in the club was killed by a stray bullet in the shooting.

According to the police, Tuan Em, 31, asked Nhan and Nghia, who were armed with scimitars, to follow him to the beer club to settle a core with Bao on Saturday.
A brother of Bao's told Thanh Nien that Tuan Em and Bao had had a conflict in the same beer club three months before, after which Bao smashed Tuan Em's motorbike.
Bao's family had to compensate Tuan Em VND10 million for the damage, but he didn't seem to have forgiven Bao, he said.
According to witnesses, when confronted by Tuan Em in the beer club at 11 p.m. on Saturday, Bao tried to run to his home across the street. Tuan Em opened fired at Bao but accidentally killed Mai.
Nghia and Nhan slashed Bao with their scimitars. When Bao collapsed just in front of the club, Tuan Em shot him twice.
The bullets hit his chest and head, the police said.
The police alleged that Phan Thanh Giang tried to help Tuan Em find a boat to escape the island. The duo had not been able to find any boat, the police said.
The police is still searching for Tuan Em.
