25 injured in central Vietnam bus crash

Twenty-five people were injured in a head-on collision between two buses on Friday in the central province of Phu Yen.

 

Local traffic police said that the accident occurred on Friday, when a bus traveling from Son Hoa District to Tuy Hoa Town crossed into oncoming traffic causing the head-on collision.

 

The buses, both of which belong to the Cuc Tu Tourism and Transport Company, were carrying a total of 100 passengers, police said.

 

Most of the victims suffered injuries to their face and chest. No deaths were recorded, the local news website reported.
