Two construction workers died on the spot after a wall collapsed in the resort town of Da Lat in Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on Friday.
The accident happened at 10:30 a.m. when four workers were building a drainage ditch under Hoang Hoa Tham Street.
The 1.5-meter-high fencing wall of a house tumbled, killing Ha Van Dap, 51, and his nephew Ha Van Vuong, 22, both from the northern province of Thai Nguyen.
Two other workers managed to jump out of the site when the incident happened.
The ditch project was part of a public project but a private company in Da Lat won the contract to build it.
Police are investigating the case.
