Two Vietnamese have been prosecuted in Cambodia after they were caught trying to bring guns into Vietnam.
Cambodian police said they arrested the men, 26 and 37 years old, on Saturday evening as they were about to cross the border to Vietnam on a car, Khmer Times reported.
Police seized 16 pistols, six rifles and 78 bullets on the car, allegedly from Thailand.
Weapon trade is banned in Cambodia and the men were charged with the unauthorized transporting of weapons, which could lead to jail terms of between six months to three years.
