Police in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai have tracked down two men suspected of stealing two iPhones from two police officers by using a location app. 
Dang Minh Hoang, 29, was arrested on Wednesday while his accomplice Dang Van Thua, 18, was placed under home arrest, news website VnExpress reported.
The case happened on June 7 when the men driving a motorbike to a police dormitory inside the Ia Grai 2 Hydropower Plant.
Thua sneaked in and stole two iPhones.
They asked a phone shop in Pleiku Town to unlock the phones, but failed. 
Police later tracked down the duo via the phones’ locating tracking app.
Police are investigating the case.
