Two crew members were killed and another is missing after a ship crashed into a barge off the northern Vietnamese city of Hai Phong Tuesday.
Six people were on the barge when the Vietnamese-flagged Eastern Sun, which was on its way to Hai Phong from China, hit it at around midnight.
The other three survived, and the bodies of the dead have been found.
A Hai Phong port official said one of the deceased has been identified.
Meanwhile, efforts are continuing to find the missing man, he added.
Details about the accident remain sketchy.
The 22,000-ton Eastern Sun belongs to the Northern Shipping Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Shipping Lines.
