Two men were found dead at home in Long An Province on Friday, allegedly from excessive drinking.
The case was reported by a neighbor who visited the house of Nguyen Van Dau, 59, in the province’s Ben Luc District at around 1 p.m.
The neighbor, who wanted to remain unnamed, said he saw the bodies of Dau and his neighbor Huynh Van Dung, 43, on a table still filled with food and alcohol.
Dau’s family said he and Dung were drinking friends and often drank together.
Both families refused an autopsy.
In 2012, a friend of Dau, Phan Van Rip, also died in the middle of in a drinking contest with another man.
