The police have arrested two people who bought methamphetamine and guns in Cambodia to resell in Ho Chi Minh City.
A source from the police said they arrested Vo Quang Vu last week after a speedy chase across several streets, until he dropped his motorbike in front of a kindergarten and tried to hide inside.
Police seized 600 grams of meth in the motorbike and a revolver with bullets.
Vu then snitched on his accomplice Nguyen Thi Ngoc Suong, enabling the police to arrest her and seize another 100 grams of meth, another revolver, a semi-automatic pistol and hundreds of bullets.

An officer said the 36-year-old man was sentenced for four years in 1995 for robbery. He was arrested again in 2000 for trading drugs and sentenced to 18 years, but was released early in 2010.
Vu said he bought the meth in large amount from Cambodia and sold to addicts at parks around the city.
He partnered with Suong in early 2014 after buying a gun from her for VND40 million (US$1,860).
Under Vietnam's Penal Code, selling 100 grams of heroin or 300 grams of other drugs is punishable by death.
