12 tourists tossed off mountainside road in southern Vietnam crash

A cargo tricycle carrying 15 people on a sight-seeing tour along a mountainside road in southern Vietnam suddenly lost its control on Sunday, crashing into rocks and throwing most of the tourists off the road from a five-meter height. 
The tourists were rushed to a local hospital right after the incident in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province. 
Doctors said all the 12 victims flung off the vehicle had severe multiple injuries
The driver and two other tourists, who managed to stay on the road, had minor injuries. 
The three-wheel vehicle, which was designed for goods transporting, reportedly crashed into rocks piled up as roadside barriers.
It almost flipped onto its side, flinging the tourists out from its bed.
Witnesses said that a large plot of grass, where the 12 tourists were thrown down to from the road, was stained with blood.
Local police are investigating the case.
