10 injured as truck crashes into motorbikes in HCMC

At least 10 people were injured after a cargo truck, whose braking system allegedly failed, crashed into multiple motorbikes at an intersection in Ho Chi Minh City on Thursday morning.
The truck driven by Nguyen Van Qua, 29, arrived at the intersection near Vinh Loc Industrial Park in Binh Tan District at around 7 a.m. It ran straight into the flow of motorbikes ahead of it.
At least nine motorbikes were directly hit, with two ending up stuck under the truck.
Ten people were injured, including a six-year-old girl.
The crash caused serious congestion in the area.
Qua has told police about the brake system failure and his claim is being investigated.
