The Portuguese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City will open its doors on September 8. Located at 66/11 Pham Ngoc Thach Street in District 3, the consulate will focus on increasing trade volume between Vietnam and Portugal.
According to a press release, the new consulate's present goal is to expand bilateral trade between the two nations by 100 percent over the next three years.
It will be headed by Consul Afonso Vieira who will concentrate on increasing bilateral trade, building and maintain strong relationships with key entrepreneurs and decision makers in Vietnam that maybe useful to Portuguese companies.
The new Portuguese Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City will be open Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
