A special magazine commemorating the 21st anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Brazil was launched in Hanoi on Monday.

The magazine's content was written by the two countries' diplomatic officials, business people and others who have lived and travelled between the two developing nations.

The magazine also aimed to celebrate the 188th anniversary of the South American country's Independence Day.

Initiated by the Vietnam-Brazil Friendship and Cooperation Association, which was established in June, the magazine contains various stories about the two countries' cooperation.

Brazilian Ambassador João de Mendonca Lima Neto said that Vietnam and Brazil's trade may reach US$800 million this year.

In unrelated news, state audit offices from Vietnam and the Ukraine signed a cooperative agreement on Monday pertaining to accounting and auditing training in Hanoi.
