Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Vietnam on Nov. 5-6, according to the Vietnamese foreign ministry.
The visit is made at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong and President Truong Tan Sang.
General Secretary Trong met President Xi during his visit to China in April this year.
China has been Vietnam’s largest trade partner and Vietnam has become the second biggest ASEAN trade partner of China for the past 10 years. Their trade revenue reached US$58.87 billion last year.
Xi will also visit Singapore on the Nov. 6-7, according to China's foreign ministry.
