The Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will tour Vietnam from October 29 to November 3 to celebrate 40 years of diplomatic between Malaysia and Vietnam.
The tour, titled From The New World, includes two main concerts at the Ho Chi Minh City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera on October 31 and the Hanoi Opera House on November 3.
The orchestra will also stage four performances dedicated to youth and children in the two central cities. Of this, one will be held in the Birla Children Village, a place home to disadvantaged kids in Hanoi.
The six-day tour features 83 musicians led by German conductor Claus Peter Flor. Malaysia’s talented 15-year-old pianist Tengku Ahmad Irfan also plays with the orchestra.
Admission for the main concert in HCMC is VND400,000-350,000-200,000, and for students,VND80,000.
