A rendered image of Vietopia, Asia's larges indoor edutainment city in Ho Chi Minh City
Vietopia, Asian largest indoor edutainment city, is slated to open soon. The $25-million project by HimLam Vietnamese Kid Intelligence Development JSC (HimLam ViKid) follows the model of integrating entertainment and sports with educational and vocational activities for children aged 3 to 14 years.
Located in Road No.1, Him Lam Residential Quarter (Tan Hung Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City), on an area of more than 30,800 sq.m, including a built-up area of 22,750 sq.m, Vietopia simulates a real city with an airport, hospitals, fire stations, banks, radio stations, supermarkets, television stations, newspapers, theaters, construction sites, metro stations, gas stations, and a space research institute. The “city” presents more than 70 typical jobs and more than 100 child-friendly first-person vocational activities. It can receive 3,500 children every day.
Joining Vietopia’s games is simple. After children choose a favorite job, they will receive training for it, put on the uniform, and begin the fun journey to working and managing their money. Part of the facility will serve parents, providing space for reading, watching movies, exercising, and having useful discussions related to child raising and education besides a cafeteria.
Vietopia has aroused interest and cooperation from many multinational and Vietnamese brands that share the same aspirations, intentions, and goal of building and developing generations of intellectual and strong-willed people for society.
