An 18-year-old student of Phuong Dong College in Da Nang City had to be hospitalized after receiving many cell phone messages from “hell.”
The victim was diagnosed with a drop in blood calcium due to stress, said a doctor at Da Nang Hospital where she was treated.
K. left the hospital Saturday but has not yet recovered completely, one of her friends said.
The teenage student panicked after receiving dozens of similar messages.
The first message came at midnight on Friday. It said: “Call me at 12 p.m. By then my apparition will become visible. Please burn some garments for me. I am very cold in hell.”
