The Thanh Quy pharmacy on Nguyen Chi Thanh Street was found carrying 91 products that either did not have a registration number or had expired

The section including the expiry date had been removed from the wrappings of some medicine, inspectors found.

Most of the medicines were meant for specific ailments or imported.

The drugstore was also selling Tamiflu that is only allowed to be sold at hospitals to assigned patients.

The drugstore is popular among a large number of Cho Ray hospital patients and a recipient of the Good Pharmacy Practices certificate under the protocol established in Tokyo in 1993.
