Inspectors from Ho Chi Minh Food Administration have found an additional 19 drinks imported from Taiwan are contaminated with industrial chemical DEHP.
The tainted drinks include passion fruit, mango and lychee juices made by Possmei International Co.Ltd and 16 kinds of syrup made by Tong Jing Network INC Co.Ltd.
Two Vietnam companies, Nhat Phu Quy and MTV Ha Thanh Limited, imported the drinks.
On Sunday, the companies were ordered to recall all tainted products from its stores.
Last week, HCMC health inspectors found DEHP in three kinds of syrup made by Taiwanese company Ye Yen Ge and in three Marshies marshmallow products imported from the Philippines.
They said the search for additional DEHP-tainted products is still under way.
