The five-star Caravelle Hotel in downtown Ho Chi Minh City has launched a new fitness program for the New Year for beginners.
Caravelle Fitness' qualified instructors will lead classes in tai chi, swimming and martial arts. All sessions are designed to make the most dedicated couch potato feel comfortable.
Each class is limited to six people to ensure that each student receives adequate personal attention.
The hotel's all-in-one class, taught by Fitness Center Manager Phuoc Loc, will include aerobics, yoga and stretching to assist with health problems"”from back aches to allergies.
Classes cost US$20 per session, in addition to the center's $15 entrance fee which is waived for hotel guests.
Ambitious exercisers can buy admission to 10 lessons for $140, which will last in a month.
Personal training costs an additional $20 per person per hour. Trainers are not always available and should be booked in advance.
