A hospital in the central city of Da Nang said Monday an 11-month-old baby girl who suffered from more than 100 bee stings had fully recovered.
On February 20, Nguyen To Nhi Phuong of Thang Binh District was rushed to the Da Nang City Obstetrics-Pediatrics Center with a swollen body and damaged liver.
Previously, Phuong was at home with her father Nguyen Dinh Hue and her grandmother when a swarm of bees flew into the house and attacked them.
As Hue's arm was in a plaster cast, he could not prevent the bees from attacking her daughter and mother.
Phuong passed out with more than 100 bee stings while Hue and his mother had bee stings all over their faces.
After the bees went away, neighbors brought the three to the hospital.
Doctors changed Phuong's condition from critical to stable after four days of treatment.
Hue and his mother have also recovered.
