Pianist Richard Clayderman to perform in Hanoi

Renowned French Pianist Richard Clayderman will give a three-hour performance in Hanoi on August 23.

Vietnam music firm SouthEast International Company and VPBank co-organized the performance, which will take place at the 3,000-seat National Conference Center.

Clayderman, 60, has released numerous albums including the compositions of Paul de Senneville and Olivier Toussant, instrumental renditions of popular music, rearrangements of movie soundtracks, ethnic music, and easy-listening arrangements of popular works of classical music.

His musical arrangements, including the Mariage d’Amour, A Comme Amour and Ballade Pour Adeline, are beloved by millions of Vietnamese listeners.

The Ballade pour Adeline, his hit-single, has sold 34 million copies in 38 countries.
