French concert for 'Francophonie Day' in Vietnam

French musician Samir Barris will perform in Hanoi, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City March 15, 17 and 19 respectively in celebration of International Francophonie Day March 20.
The concert is organized by the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation to Vietnam, Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (Francophonie International Organization), in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy in Hanoi and the Institute for Culture Exchange with France (IDECAF).
The show in Ho Chi Minh City will also include Swiss singer Célina Ramsauer.
Samir Barris (guitar, lead singer), Margaret (violon, harpe, singer), Nicholas Yates (contrebasse, singer) will perform at 8 p.m. at Youth Theater at 11 Ngo Thi Nham Street in Hanoi, the Hue Cultural Center at 65 Tran Hung Dao Street in Hue and at IDECAF at 28 Le Thanh Ton Street in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1.
Samir Barris has created his own music set to the renowned poems of French poets  like Baudelaire, Hugo, Verlaine, Lamartine and Vian.
