Japanese violin wunderkind to perform in Hanoi
Japanese violin prodigy Anna Sowanna Takeda is set to play along with the Vietnam Opera-Ballet Theater’s symphony orchestra in Hanoi next week to mark International Children’s Day.

The “Violin Talents” shows on May 28 and 29 will feature works by Haydn, Mozart, Rossini and Wienniawsky.

The orchestra will be conducted by Japanese master Yoshikazu Fukumura and Hungarian violinist Vilmos Olah.

Takeda, who was born in 1992, began playing the violin when she was just five years old.

She has since won several awards at national musical contests and performed around the world.
