Largest ever ‘team wedding’ scheduled for Da Lat Flower Festival
The first "team wedding" organized in Da Lat in 2004
A 114-couple “team wedding” to be held in mountainous resort city of Da Lat will be recorded by the Vietbooks Vietnam Records Book this December on the occasion of the city’s annual Flower Festival.

The festival and wedding will be held December 15-18, during the town’s most beautiful season.

Nguyen Van Binh, director of The Gioi Moi (New World) Media Company, the organizer of the team wedding titled “Happiness Itinerary”, said the company collected 114 couples to mark the 114th anniversary of Da Lat’s establishment.

Binh said the three-day wedding tour departing from Ho Chi Minh City-based Duc Ba Church would cost VND5 million (US$311) per couple.

The newly weds will participate in the Flower Festival’s parades and parties after the wedding celebration at the city’s five-star Palace Hotel.

Binh added a 40m-long wedding dress, a 60m-long wedding photo, and the largest-ever wedding cake would also be recorded by Vietbooks at the event.

The wedding tour was first organized in 2004.
